Is it free to play?

Yes. There is nothing to buy.

Is it pay-to-win?

No. There is no shop in version one. Cosmetics are earned in play, and they never change how a ship sails or fights.

What do I need to play?

A current desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) or a phone browser. Landscape works best on a phone.

How do I make an account?

Sign in with Discord on play.wavesworn.com. Your captain, ship and gold are saved to that account.

What happens if I disconnect?

Your ship stays in the world for 60 seconds. Reconnect within that time and you pick up where you left off. After that it is saved and leaves the sea until you log in again.

What are seasons?

Seasons last a few months. Each one opens a region with its own fleet, token and titles. Your ship, gold and skills carry over between seasons.

Where is the server?

One world server hosts every player. Players far from it see more latency.

How do I report a player?

Type /report "Name" reason in chat. Moderators see the report with that player's recent chat lines.

How do I contact the team?

Type in global chat while a moderator is online, or use /report for a problem with another player.
